Free Fractal Wallpapers
These fractal wallpapers have been created in Fractal Explorer and the flame fractals wallpapers in Apophysis. The general size is 1280 x 800. If you have a smaller screen, then you can resize them in any basic graphics program. If you do not have a graphics program, you can try Gimp. All the above programs are open source and free.
The word fractal, meaning broken or fractured, was coined by Mandelbrot. A fractal is defined by a simple recursive relationship, and this makes it eminently suitable for computer generation.
