Free Mathematics Activity Downloads Archive

These activities involve the use of the spreadsheet to carry out mathematical investigations.

The activities are suitable for anyone in secondary mathematics education, particularly those in the age range 11 - 16+.

The mathematics activity downloads listed here are my older acitivities. I only display the most recent three mathematics activities on the main free activities page.

Each activity has two files which can be downloaded. The first file, in the form of a pdf,Tutorials in Mathematics Education - pdf format  can be used on any computercontains the instructions and solutions.

The second file is in two forms, choose either one, depending on your operating system and spreadsheet application program. The first type is a prepared MS Excel® spreadsheet and the second type is in CSV format. The instructions refer to either format. It can be given to a class to work through, although help should always be available for those who find following instructions difficult.
